Who we are
Fitz Fitness (John Fitzgerald) runs this member portal to coach our members. If you have any questions about your data, WhatsApp us on 087 381 4266, email john@fitzfitness.ie, or speak to us in the gym.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, and your mobile number if you choose to add it
- Your daily log: weight (if you choose to weigh daily), energy, sleep, mood and the things you're grateful for
- Your weekly check-in answers and your coach's replies
- Food photos from your 5-day photo check
- Your programme and nutrition level, set by your coach
Some of this, such as your weight and wellbeing, counts as health information. We only collect it with your explicit consent, which you give when you first log in.
Why we use it
Only to coach you: to see how you're getting on, give you feedback and adjust your plan. We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside the Fitz Fitness coaching team.
Who can see it
You, and the Fitz Fitness coaches (John, Clodagh and Nicola). No other members can see your information.
Where it's stored
Securely with Google Cloud (Firebase) in the European Union (Belgium). Google processes the data for us under its standard data processing terms.
How long we keep it
- Food photos: deleted automatically after 60 days.
- Logs and check-ins: kept while you're a member, and deleted within 12 months of you leaving, or straight away if you ask.
Your rights
You can see your information at any time in the portal. You can ask us to correct it, give you a copy, or delete it. You can delete everything yourself with Settings → Delete all my data. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your data. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
